The overcrowded Android smartphone market can leave any buyer confused. With new smartphones and their many variants launching every day, it is difficult to keep track of their prices. Here are 10 popular Android smartphones that recently got their prices slashed.

Moto X Play is currently selling for low as Rs 16,499. It has a 5.5-inch AMOLED Full HD display, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and microSD card support. The phone also has a 21MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing shooter, along with a 3,630mAh battery. It also comes with a water-resistant nano-coating.

Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone was introduced for Rs 15,999 and is now available for Rs 12,999, exclusively on Amazon India. It features a 5-inch full-HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Motorola's 'Shatterproof' smartphone Moto X Force recently received a massive price cut. The 32GB variant is now available a discount of Rs 15,000 and the 64GB variant at a discount of Rs 16,000, bringing the prices down to Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999 respectively.

Asus Zenfone Max now costs Rs 8,999. The main highlight of the device is its 5,000 mAh battery, which can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

The 16GB version of OnePlus 2 now costs Rs 20,999, while the 64GB version is available for Rs 22,999. OnePlus 2 runs on its custom OxygenOS, based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is the first device to ship with OnePlus' own operating system out of the box.

LG’s last year flagship G4 received a big price cut as well. It is now available for just Rs 34,999.

Having been launched at a price of Rs 49,000, the Samsung Galaxy S6 (32GB) is now available for around Rs 36,000.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge now costs as low as Rs 40,000. It was launched at Rs 58,900.

Moto G (3rd-gen) 16GB now bears a price tag of Rs 9,999. The price cut was announced after Motorola recently launched the Moto G4 Plus in India.

The launch of the fourth gen Moto G devices also triggered a price cut for the older Moto G Turbo version. It now costs Rs 11,499.
